The turbo chargers and super chargers are forced induction systems. In such a system the inlet air to the cylinder is compressed.Due to compression more air can be forced into the cylinder, and more air means more fuel. This results in a boost in the power of the engine. In a super charger the air compressor pump is driven by the engine through a belt .The turbo charger pump is driven by the force of exhaust gas.

The best way to improve the power of your old engine is to turbo charge it.With a turbo charger installed to your engine , you will never be trailing in the high ways or off roads.Up to 30-40 % boost in power is sure. Also there will not be much reduction in the fuel efficiency of the engine. With a turbo charger you will get better pick up ,torque and top speeds.

Turbochargerpros.com is the best place for buying the air induction systems.Turbo chargers and super chargers matching to almost all makes of engine are available there;whether it be Audi turbo,Volkswagen turbo, Jetta diesel turbo or any other make. With free shipping, fast delivery and lowest prices, the turbochargerpros.com has become a top source in this field.

Plastic Logic has developed the worlds largest, flexible organic active matrix display. The display consists of a high resolution, printed active matrix back plane driving an electronic paper. The thickness of the display when laminated with the E Ink’s imaging film is less than 0.4 mm.The backplane substrate is more flexible and easier to handle than alternatives like thin glass or steel foil.

The E Ink imaging film is an electrophoretic display material that looks like printed ink on paper and has been designed for use in paper like electronic displays.Like paper the material can be flexed and rolled.

The Digi Passport data center management device from Digi International combines console management, intelligent platform management interface and remote key board mouse video functionality in one box.

Digi’s free KVM provides a network based graphical connection that consumes less network bandwidth and is free of distracting mouse synchronization delays. The integration of this functionality in a single device can reduce data center hardware management costs by as much as 75 percent. In addition the digi Passport next generation Ipv6.A USB port and a PC card slot offer expandability.

The PAcific Northwest National Laboratory is exploring the technologies required to perform evvironment restoration and waste management in a cost effective manner. This effort includes the development of portable inexpensive systems capable of real time identification of contaminants in the field. As part of this effort ,ANNs combined with chemical sensor arrays and spectrometers for use in prototype electronic noses.

Environmental applications of electronic noses include identification of toxic wastes, analysis of fuel mixtures, detection of oil leakages, identification of house hold odors, air quality monitoring factory emission monitoring and testing  of ground water for odors.

FireWire uses a peer to peer architecture in which the peripherals are intelligent and can negotiate bus conflicts to determine which device can best control a data transfer.

High Speed USB 2.0 uses a master slave architecture in which the computer handles all arbitration functions and dictates data flow to from and between the attached peripherals adding additional system overhead and resulting in slower data flow control.

The IEEE 1394  standard was conceived by apple computer and then developed within the IEEE 1394 working group. It is a scalable flexible easy to use ,low cost digital interface that will integrate the world of consumer electronics and personal computers.

The IEE 1394 standard defines both a back plane physical layer and point to point cable connected virtual bus implementations. The back plane version operates at 12.5,25 or 50Mbps.The cable version supports data rates up to 3200 Mbps. Both versions are compatible at the link layer and above. The standards defines the media topology and protocol.

HCL Infosystems has achieved a break through with the launch of EC2 technology that enables the computers to cut down time and space to recover lost data. The EC2 technology enabled HCL Non-Stop series of notebooks can automatically take a complete record of all data using just 0.07 percent of the hard disk.

The EC2 takes a snapshot of the entire system within the same hard disk drive with out creating a separate partition. The process of reloading the data gets completed in less than a minute.

An artificial neural network is an information processing paradigm inspired by the way biological nervous systems such as brain, process the information. It has a large no: of highly interconnected processing elements working in unison to solve specific problems.

Like humans ANNs learn by example. An ANN is configured for an application such as identifying chemical vapors  through a learning process. This is true for ANNs as well. For the electronic nose the ANN learns to identify the various chemicals or odors by example.

British ans Swiss Scientists have developed an X ray laser that may allow you to see through walls. When the laser is directed at a specially designed solid, the solid material undergoes transition from the opaque to transition from the opaque to transparent state resulting in a circular window that you can see through.Professor Chris Phillips of Imperial College ,London ,say that this effect can be created in other materials as well with a special.
