In this age of portable electronic gadgets, efficient batteries are critical.To make the gadgets like laptops, cellphones and PDAs light weight it is necessary to replace heavier metallic components with light weight polymers.Replacing these metals with conductive polymers would lower the weight , cost and toxicity, increase the number of charge/discharge cycles and improve recycling.Various battery manufacturers are in a through research to produce a low cost solution for integrating low weight and reduced production cost.
