The Central Industrial Security force of India plans to invest heavily into explosive detection machines for ports.Likely to be imported from the US or France the machines are al ready in the use at New Yorks JFK airport and London’s Heathrow.
The explosive detection system works like a magnetic resonance imaging scan.It makes an intensive analysis of the contents of each checked bag and in a matter of few seconds ascertains the threat if any and sounds an alarm.
